Hello,
I am interested in learning Catalan and Spanish. I have little to no prior knowledge of either language, recently I travelled to Spanish speaking countries and felt that I really needed to learn Spanish.
T he reason I would like to learn these two languages is for travel, possibly in the next year and perhaps to be able to obtain a job while traveling.
I would like to learn grammar, conversation and most of all I would really like to practice listening to the language in order to dicipher what was said or asked.
I work full time, as well I am involved in a couple of evening activities. However I am willing to dedicate spare evenings and or weekends to learning. All in all I can be very flexible.

I am travelling to peru in march and need to learn south american spanish asap, one or two evenings a weeks whould be ideal. I also have a friend who would be joining me in doing lessons. I have a minor in Spanish. I am a 6th grade Spanish teacher. I need to learn how to speak more fluently and understand how to structure my sentences when speaking. I speak Spanish and understand Spanish. I am also able to understand when reading it as well. I need grammar, conversation. I am not sure right now. Structured lessons and a patient teacher.

I consider myself a beginner and although I seem to have an ear for the language, I need to improve my conversation/ pronunciation s skills. I travel regularly to Central America for recreational and business purposes.
I'm prepared to commit 4 to 6 hours per week for the next 5-6 weeks and 2 to 3 hours per week thereafter.
I'm looking for an instructor whose native language is preferably Spanish and whose schedule is flexible enough to accomodate daytime and some evening classes (no Weekends).
