* I know a couple of words but want to be able to speak basic sentances in converstation . I have purchased 'Ultimate Japanese Course - by Living Language' and would like to use this as a reference while learning the cultural side and language.
* I want to learn as I work for a Japanese company (Yamaha), and am going to Japan this spring - April 20th
* I can spend alot of time on my own, and am flexable on time to take lessons. I want to record lessons and words to practice on my own.

I am a beginner with Japanese, but I learn quick. I watch a lot of anime, so I pick up phrases and words easily. I teach myself too, but it is very difficult to understand sometimes since I am not a native speaker. I am very interested in the Japanese culture. I want to know how to write and speak Japanese in any area. One hour of lessons is fine. I want to be able to learn easily from a teacher. Not only do I want to learn the language but also the culture.

I am a beginner in Japanese, looking to learn it for recreational purposes. I have self-taught myself most katakana and am in the process of teaching myself hiragana, but what I would really like to learn is how to actually speak Japanese.
It is very hard to find any good Japanese resources that will sit down and actually teach Japanese so I am interested in live as well as internet learning, particularly with small groups rather than individually, but it doesn't matter too much.
