I have used Spanish in a medical setting and German in conversation. I would like to improve both my Spanish (for professional and personal reasons) and German. I would also like to learn correct pronunciation s for words I sing when I record music. (I sing songs in Italian, Spanish, and French.) At this time I would like to focus more of my time on learning Swedish, as I have a longtime friend from Sweden (originally from Kariskoga, now living in Gothenberg) that I plan to visit soon. He and I have spoken of starting a life together, and learning the language could only help. I would rather show some initiative to learn a bit first instead of expecting him to teach me everything I need to know about the Swedish language and culture. I would like to become proficient in conversationa l Swedish in the span of a couple of months. I am looking for a native Swedish speaker, if possible, since I also want to understand Swedish culture, especially when it comes to courtship, dating, and religion.

I am interetsed in learning Japanese for spiritual reasons. I wish to reach people of foreign language with the purpose of spreading Bible truths. I am a beginner student. I studied Japanese for a year in college about four years ago. I need improvememnt in all areas of the language. I would like to learn Arabic so that I can travel to countries in the Middle East. I am a beginner. The amount of time I can dedicate to my lessons will depend on the schedule of my graduate school studies. My wife and I are looking to relocate to Israel in the next 6-9 months. I had studied Hebrew to just past my Bar Mitzvah, and primarily by memorization. My wife studied more recently, but more limited for her conversion. We are both beginners, and we are looking to begin with conversationa l Hebrew and advance as our skills allow, with my professional background in Nursing and my wife's in elementary education.
I have always found new languages difficult and I am a 'visual' learner. We are both looking for someone to assist us in this venture in the most understanding and thorough way possible. I am working full time so my time is limited to nights.
