I took Italian for a semester while in Italy, but beyond that have no training. Thus, I am certainly a beginner. I would like to learn it because it is a language that interests me. The Japanese culture fascinates me and I wish to study abroad there my junior year of high school. I am currently a freshman. A minimum of one year is required to attend, so I would like to learn. I am a beginner. I feel that the area that I would need the most help in would be grammar and sentence structure.
