I am a beginner. I would like to learn Spanish to broaden my chances of career advancement. I need help from start to finish. I will dedicate 2-4 hours a week with an instructor and 8-10 hrs on my own. I want an instructor who is able to take their time when teaching and can adjust to my learning style. My boyfriend and I are looking for a private teacher to meet with us.
I know enough to get me through the streets of a Spanish speaking country. My boyfriend knows a little more...but it's more Tex/Mex Spanish from working on construction projects.
We both want to learn Spanish so that we will not only be more marketable (he is a landscape architect and I am a freelance photographer) . We both travel for business and pleasure and if we were fluent in Spanish it would make most of our travels a little more enjoyable.
We are wanting to maybe do a 2 hour class at least once a week....maybe two if we could fit it in.
We are looking for a teacher who will help us learn conversationa l Spanish....so meone who will push us a little but also be patient with us.
