I am interested in improving my abilities to converse in the Ukrainian language. Both of my parents are Ukrainian, and I spent some time learning the language as a child. However, my skills with the language have fallen behind over the years and I would like to be able to speak Ukrainian with confidence.
I am also planning a trip to Ukraine in the new year and would like to be able to speak and understand Ukrainian well, by the time I take the trip.
Ideall y I would like to work on my conversationa l Ukrainian, as well as grammer and reading.
I work a busy schedule, but I would like to start out with lessons maybe twice a week.
As for qualities in a teacher, I would like someone who will teach proper Ukrainian language rather than Russian language.

I am interested in learning Russian for both personal enjoyment and for professional/ career enhancement purposes. I am a beginner in Russian, having studied a few semesters while I was in college (but it has been over 5 years since I last studied Russian). I would like to focus on improving the spoken language for everyday conversation, and need refreshers on grammar. Realistically , because of a full work schedule, I will only be able to dedicate a few hours per week to learn (somewhere between 4-10 hours). I am looking for an instructor who is fluent in both Russian and English.
