We both watch Taiwanese dramas but other than that we are beginers, we would be willing to spend two to three days put of the week learning chinese.We hope our teacher will be fluent in chinese and teach us well.

Ni Hao,
I recently purchased Rosetta Stone but would like additional live interaction with learning Mandarin. I am trying to learn a second language to enhance my career options so I would like to incorporate business terms into my lessons. I am very much a beginner but can understand some. I am half Chinese with a fluent mother but sadly I shame her everyday for not knowing the language, so that is another reason I would like to learn!
I am not sure if I should immerse myself in Rosetta Stone for awhile before starting private lessons so any input is appreciated.
