Personally, I feel it is obligatory for me to learn Turkish. As that I am connected to it historically and religiously.
As a beginner - I would like to focus on learning both conversation and grammar.
The qualities I hope to find in a teacher are of course, someone who is patient, kind and enjoys helping others to learn, and a teacher who will help me to become proficient over the longterm.

Hello,
I am interested in learning to speak Turkish as I am involved in a long distance relationship with a Turkish gentleman and wish to further my understanding with his family and culture. I have been trying to learn via 'Rosetta Stone' software and by what he is trying to teach me online (he is not a teacher but he tries). Unfortunately I am not going at the pace I would like to. I do have a little bit of basic Turkish and am very eager to learn. I am at home all day so time is not an issue, I can study a lot.

i would like to learn the turkish language as i have been a regular visitor to turkey for many years.i am due to marry my fiance who is turkish in two years and would like to improve as i am only a begginer and speak only a little turkish.
i feel i would like to learn conversation and grammer and would like to spend around two to three hours per week if possible learning.
