I am continuing to learn Russian after living in Kazakhstan for a year. I am mostly interested in improving my conversationa l skills due to my interest in the language. I am an intermediate, conversationa l speaker but need a lot of help with grammar because I have only learned by listening and speaking with native speakers. I wish to learn Telegu because I will be spending a lot of time in Andrah Pradesh during the next year. I am having a very difficult time finding good study materials. I need help with pronunciation and grammar. I will spend enough time as necessary to learn the grammar. I can implement what I have learned once I am in India. I want a teacher who can explain Telegu grammar to me in English. She must also know where the best grammar books are.

I am wanting to learn Arabic, Middle Eastern for career advancement and I've always wanted to be able to speak and understand a foreign language. I am most definitely a beginner I know nothing about the language and very little about the culture. I would like to be able to speak and listen to where I can hold a conversation. I would also like to be able to read and write. I was looking to take some classes at UNT but I believe you have to crawl before you can walk so I think it would be to fast paced of a setting for me.

I would like to learn Mandarin for a few reasons. I believe in the future there will be a strong business demand for fluent speakers of Mandarin. I am interested in learning a foreign language and I would like to broaden my learning background. I have no training in Mandarin, no experience at all. I could dedicate up to 8 hours a week learning a new language. I am looking for a teacher that can deal with a flexible schedule and will be patient in their teaching methods.
