I have studied Persian Farsi for a while but have not been able to keep up for 2 years. I need to have a refresher course in order to prepare for a government test I need to take. I am a beginner, though I have years of experience learning Arabic, so the alphabet and a lot of vocabulary are familiar. Also nothing could be harder than Arabic!
I would like to learn Farsi because I lived in the Middle East for a long time and I love Iran so much. I want to be able to read the literature and someday visit Iran again.
For the summer, I'd like to practice at least an hour a day. I am good at learning on my own, but I need a teacher who can guide my pronunciation , engage me in basic conversation in Farsi, and correct my grammar mistakes.
