I find that I have to use Mandarin more and more in my job, but I'm not fluent and I have trouble with Guo-yu's tones.
I would say I'm at an intermediate level but I've never taken a class in it.
I need someone (a) to speak with conversationa lly; (b) whom I can ask about pronunciation , tone and vocabulary issues.
I want to dedicate two hours a week to this one-on-one practice, but wil go with whatever is practical. I am already studying every night.
I need someone who is friendly and enjoys conversation.

I am a graduate student in Anthropology who wants to learn BHS (Bosnian, Croatian, Serbian) in order to be able to conduct my dissertation research in Bosnia. I have taken up to intermediate in the classroom through a summer intensive but have been out of practice for 4 months and need to review and expand my knowledge. I have a good deal of grammar knowledge and am fairly good with the cases and reading but need help with conversation and accent. I am looking for a tutor either in person or online and/or a tutor in Bosnia for a summer language program for June-Aug 2009

I am looking for a tutor to teach my 12 yr. old daughter Japanese. She is very interested in the language and has been trying to teach herself. She would be a beginner.
One hour a week would be sufficient for her needs at this point. I would like this to enhance her life, therefore, I would prefer her to have a teacher that makes the learning fun.
