I plan on taking these skills to the business world; and thus knowing another language - the current language of business - allows me to efficiently communicate in the foreign market. I am a beginner, and only plan on learning the how to speak mandarin and not how to write it. I want to dedicate lots of time to this, 8 hours a week.

Japanese - I consider myself a high beginner or low intermediate. I'm learning Japanese for personal growth and travel also. I need to improve my grammar and listening comprehension . Kore an - I am a beginner, I only started learning in September of 2008. I am learning Korean because I would like to teach english in Korea some day. Since I'm a beginner I need to work on every aspect of speaking and listening. Reading and writing are not a problem.I will dedicate as much time as I can. I am looking to learn to keep up my studies from when I lived in Beijing for three years. It will mostly be for work related issues, business conversation specifically. I believe that I am somewhere between beginner and intermediate. I would like to study for an hour to an hour and a half 5 days a week. I would like the lessons to take place at my office in burnaby.
I am looking for a teacher that can make the learning fun, someone that is innovative and is able to keep me interested. From studying in the past, I know that if lessons become stale, I will get bored and lose interest.
