I am married to an Israeli and I have two children and I live in Israel for about 9 years.
In the beginning of my stay in Israel i did a summer ulpan on the Tel Aviv university and later I did a semester at Ulpan Gordon in Tel Aviv. I has allso a few private lessons with a teacher but I felt she did it more to drink coffee in a beit caffee than that she was interested in teaching.
I speak dutch with my children but I would like to improve my hebrew in order to understand them better when they speak hebrew to me or when they communicate with other children. Another reason to improve my hebrew is to communicate better with friends and family here in Israel.
I know the Hebrew Alphabet, I can write basic sentences with mistakes. I can have basic conversations but I am pretty fast lost if the conversation starts to deepen.
I want to start with one hour a week with possible more in the future.
I am looking for a teacher who does more than rehearse list of words.

I am a student at the Technion University and i will be studying here in Israel for the next three years. I am looking for a teacher to teach me basic conversationa l Hebrew(Hebrew for beginners) through private classes. Since i am studying at a University the timings should be flexible. I am looking for a teacher fluent in both Hebrew and English so that translation is not a problem. I would like to dedicate a few hours on a weekly basis to learn the language.
