I have never learned Arabic, not started it and have no clue about it so I am completely new to the language yet I wish to learn it all the same and need tution in this.
I am converting to Islam so wish to learn Arabic to read the Quran but also my partners family are Algerian so learning Arabic would make communicating with her family easier.

I have a very simple beginner level proficiency in Arabic. Studies for 6 months in Yemen, but that was about 4-5 years ago.
I wish to learn Arabic because it is a beautiful language that is spoken by hundreds of millions of individuals. I appreciate Arab culture and feel it is beneficial to understand the langauge to more fully understand a forgeign culture. In addition, I am a student of comparative religion and have a desire to learn religious languages, this includes Arabic. I hope, as well, in the future, to travel back to the Middle East with my wife and spend some time there.
I am interested in grammar, and conversation at present.
I would like to take a class a week with my wife. Additional study and preparation done on our own time.
I am interested in finding a teacher that has a good knowledge of English for ease of grammar study.

I know the basics of Arabic but still need much practice to become fluent. I want to practice speaking and listening because right now I can write Arabic better than I can speak it. I would like to spend about two hours a day, three times a week plus homework. I want to learn formal arabic.
