The course will introduce the basic grammatical structures and will develop your ability to interact in basic communicative events. Writing, speaking, and the cultural context of the language are also covered.

I am interested in learning Greek. I am a beginner but I learn fast. My interest in Greek was inspired by my reading of Homer's Illiad. Of course this happened many years ago
(presently I am 51 years of age) but ever since I became interested in the Greek culture I thought that perhaps one day I could attempt to read Greek classics in the language in which they should be read. Time for me is not a problem as long as I have a tutor/teacher who is willing to teach me.
