I was born in Hango Finland and was brought to England at age 3 months. I have now retired and am planning a trip to Finland in 2010. I understand swedish is generally spoken in Finland and I need to be able have a basic vocabulary to get around.
My wife,also English, is accompanying me. We are retired and could fit in with most schedules.

Hi, I have an interest on Sweden, and plan that in future I can go there for study or work.
I had a Swedish bf before, so I learned quite much of the vocabularies, but still consider myself as beginner, also would like to learn more in pronunciation and conversation.
I can give 2hrs in each meeting (twice a week will be fine), weekdays after 7pm and weekend anytime before evening. Also if you can do it online once in awhile, I am open for the option.
Male or female is not a problem. Friendly and patient, those what I need the most.

I'm wanting to learn this language so i can advance in college, and be able to go to Sweden as a foreign exchange student. I'm a beginner at Swedish. I would like to learn conversation, and family first, since that's important in my career i plan to go into. I can dedicate up to an hour every day during the week, and up to three hours on Saturday. I want straight forward teaching, and what the words might sound like in English. I prefer to move on pretty fast and if i need it to slow down, I'll let you know.
