My partner, in-laws, relatives and friends speak the vietnamese language, learning vietnamese will help me to communicate with them. It will also give me a better understanding of their culture and way of thinking. I love vietnamese dramas and want to learn their language in order to gain a better understanding of it. I recently just converted to buddhism and I am having trouble finding english sessions, I want to learn vietnamese to be able to attend vietnamese sessions. I just like the sound of asian languages when spoken. I speak english and spanish but two languages are not enough :-).Learning a foreign language takes time and dedication and I have it. I am beginner.

Hello,
I lived a year in Sweden and went to a high school. I can read, write and speak Swedish, but my small highschool doesn't provide Swedish as a language and will not give me credit for my language skills. I've looked at taking some univeristy college courses, but they're really expensive and I don't have that much money. I'm also a little worried that I know too much conversationa l langauge, as I never took a real Swedish class. I was wondering if you knew of any tests, or could give/make a proffincy test in Swedish. My grandma lives in Seattle, so I'd be willing to come over for a few classes and to take the test, but only if it would be approved by a Washington State HS.
