I am a total novice but my girlfriend, who is half Thai, understands only some phrases (but can't read/write). We would like to study together and would like to build a foundation in Thai.
Prio rity - conversationa l Thai but followed closely by reading and writing.
T ime - One hour per week, on Monday or Wednesday evening.
L esson structure - Well structured. Homework and worksheets that can be studied outside of the lesson.

I want to learn Arabic to become a diplomat. I have studied for two years at the University of Michigan and have recently attended a four week immersion program in Rabat, Morocco. I would like to continue the Al-Kitab book studies, bring in my work, and have it corrected every week until I complete all three books. Then I would like to focus on media arabic with resources recommended by the instructor. I want to achieve fluency.
