i WOULD LIKE TO LEARN FRENCH DUE TO MY TRAVELING ABROAD. I HAVE MANY FRENCH / ENGLISH SPEAKING FRIENDS AND WOULD LIKE TO BE ABLE TO COMMUNICATE WITH THEM. I TOOK TWO YEARS OF FRENCH IN HIGH SCHOOL. I certainly am a beginner; I have never been exposed to Chinese. Since I plan to take it this fall during my freshman year of college at the University of Texas at Austin I would like to get a jump-start on learning Chinese. I work for a large construction company and handle most of the supervision on the jobs. Our company employs alot of hispanic workers. I really need an aggressive approach to learning spanish. I want to be proficient in spanish by the end of the year. I know that the grammactical side of learning a new language is important, but my main focus is on learning to communicate proficiently with the hispanic workers as fast as possible.
