I was born in Hong Kong and grew up in the U.S. I speak Cantonese at home with my parents, but English is my primary language. I want to learn Mandarin to become proficient in conversation. I also want to improve my vocabulary in Cantonese and to be able to read and write Chinese.
I would like to dedicate a few hours a week to my language lessons, either one-on-one or in a small class. I live in Westlake, so I would prefer someone on the west side of Cleveland.

I am at an intermediate level in Russian language, but I am mostly self-taught so there are some gaps in my grammatical knowledge. I have a fairly good vocabulary, however, as I have spent a total of about eight months in Russia spread over ten separate visits, and I regularly listen to Russian radio and watch Russian television. I would eventually like to become fluent in Russian, and I am looking for a teacher to help me in this quest. I am able to devote about 8-10 hours per week at this time.

My first language is English and I'm very interested in learning how to speak Korean. My mother is Korean but I never learned how to speak the language. It becomes difficult when I visit Korean business and am not able to ask for what I need or want. It will also be very helpful at work where I have a large Korean clientele.
