Dear Sir/Ma'am, I am am adult (New Orleans) who would be interested in having a tutor assist me in learning basic Russian. I have some knowledge (1-yr. High School Russian) I aquired many years ago, but need to start learning the basics again.
I have always been interested in the Russian language and would like to learn it as a personal goal. I have recently attempted to self-teach with tapes, books, DVDs, etc. but realize that I may need a teacher to converse with. I would be interested in lessons maybe 2 - 4 times a month, but this is just a suggestion. Thank you.

I am learning Japanese through self study this year but I will need some help and practice with speaking and communicating . I will also need help with reviewing what I learned. I have taken two previous courses in Japanese through my high school. I am still at a beginner level in my opinion. I catch on to grammar easily and need most help with memorizing vocabulary and kanji as well as conversation practice. I am willing to dedicate a lot of my time to studying, but because of a busy schedule cannot meet with a tutor very often. A good amount would be for a few hours every two weeks.

I will be a beginner - I wish to be able to converse with new friends who live in Ukraine. I would like to be at least minimally competent by april when I make my first trip there. I am able to learn several times a week as necessary to complete my goals. The only quality that is important to me in a teacher is to be able to get me where I want to be as soon as possible
