My proficiency level in the arabic language is novice. I have never learned before, but I am interested because my father is arabic and he does not speak the language well so he can not teach me. I am half lebanese and have no knowledge of the language. I would dedicate several hours per week studying the language as it is very important to me. Hello Maryam,
I have been keen to learn to speak Farsi ever since I met my Iranian partner two years ago. He has been teaching me farsi words and says that I do learn quickly.
I wish to speak the language first and foremost because I want to communicate with my partner in his native language and with his relatives in Iran who only speak Farsi (dialect in Babol). We are also planning on visiting Iran in the near future and I would love nothing more than to communicate with his family.
I do consider myself a beginner as I have never learned the alphabet and the basic phonetics. My main goal is to understand and speak fluent farsi. I am willing to dedicate up to 3 hours a week to learn the language. I would also appreciate homework and other activities that would improve my new language skills. Patience, enthusiasm and a variety of teaching techniques is what I am looking for in a lesson and teacher. I am also hoping to commence learning as soon as possible and would appreciate to hear from you soon.

1.Reading level is above average with slow speed
2.I want to learn to be able to understand and read the Holy Qu'ran
3.I would like to meet maybe once or twice a week
4.I need improvement in everything grammar, conversation, etc...since I don't know the language
5.Q uality in the teacher would be: someone that is very patience and kind, someone that you can be comfortable learning from, not someone that is always on your case when you can't keep up with the lesson but rather stick to your pace
