I just got married last December and my husband is Korean. We had a Korean wedding in Korea in December, and will be having the American wedding in September. Most of his family does not speak English. I want to learn the Korean language and customs so that I can communicate with my new family, as well as observe and respect the culture.
Spanish is my first language, but I speak English fluently. I love learning languages and majored in French, as well as spent a semester in France. I would love to learn Korean as well. My husband and I hope to raise our kids speaking Korean, Spanish, and English, and it would help if I spoke Korean as well. We also want them to know and understand both Korean and Puerto Rican customs.
I am a beginner, and know only a couple basic phrases, and some customs. I would like lessons that teach conversationa l Korean and Korean customs. Maybe someone who could meet once or twice a week with me. I am looking for a teacher who is patient and is eager and enthusiastic about teaching Korean, both the language and culture. I am very excited. I can't wait to start learning and one day be able to call my mother in law and speak to her in Korean.

I am Korean but moved to the US when I was about five years old. I am now 24 and recently began brushing up on my Korean. I can not read or write Korean but I am semi-fluent in speaking and listening. I have several family members in Korea and wish to visit in about a year...possib ly a very extended visit. I am currently a graduate student in art therapy and hope to work with the Korean population. However, I feel my knowledge in the language is currently insuffient for my plans. I am currently quite busy so I can only invest about 3-5 hrs a week on lessons. I would like someone that knows a bit of english if possible.

I have never spoken any korean, but i want to learn it and visit South Korea, because i have heard that it is very beautiful there and that the people are really friendly there. i would like to spoend as much time as it may take for me to be able to communicate properly with korean people and also be able to read their characters. I would greatly like it if the teacher is fluent with english and korea.

I work for a Kroean company where people around me are constantly speaking Korean. I would like to learn the language so I do not feel alienated. I have never tried to learn the language before, so I am a definite beginner. I'll need to know how much 6 months of sessions will cost.
