Hi,
My daughter and I are looking for a teacher who can inspire, have patience, and get us on the right track. There is a good possibility we will be moving to Norway for a few years. We are both very apprehensive about the language, but really want to be able to speak it and understand it. I am 50 and she is 13. My husband (who is Norwegian) says the best way for our daughter to assimilate is to go directly into a Norwegian speaking school. I'm not so sure about that- it seems alot to handle, but maybe if we can get a jump start on the language here in the States so the transition may be easier for her.
The lessons would be for the two of us- online video.

I have 'self-taught' myself beginning Norwegian but that was about a year ago and I've forgotten much of it....some of it. My in laws have a family farm in Norway and my husband and I go with them to Norway every year. They love to go visiting people/family there and I hate it b/c, even though most people can speak english, they generally fall back into norwegian very quickly and I get left out. I would like to start from the beginner course and plan on continuing on through intermediate, etc. I can dedicate approx. 1 hour a day to learning. Can you help me?
