hi, my name is alex. i am 15. i use to speak greek for about 8 years because i lived there, but after moving to england i have forgotten it. i would say i was a beginner but i think that i would be able to pick it up quite quickly. i am looking to learn more of the conversation side of the langueage and maybe the grammar. i want to learn greek agian because after losing the language i have always felt that i wanted to learn it again but have never got the chance to. i would like about 2 hours a week. my mom speaks almost fluent greek and can read and write a little too, so she would be able to help me with studying.

I have completed a beginner's course in Greek (GNMOCN Level 1) in Manchester and wish to undertake an intermediate course that will advance my spoken Greek as well reading and writing. I am looking to learn greek as im hoping to move there in a few years time, i know a few words so i really would be starting from the beggining, my nan was from cephelonia so its also very important for me to learn the language for her. As I am still at college this would be something i would be goin in the evenings, i was thinkin one evening a week as far as lessons go but i would obviously do more work throughout the weel.
I am looking for a teacher who understands my goals and ambitions, teaches creatively as ive found this is the only way i learn. I also need a teacher that respects me as a person as this would enable me to respect them, more than anything I would like a teacher who enjoys teaching.
