I am passionate about learning Danish. I want to integrate here in DK and think that learning the language is important. I am married to a Dane and we have a new son who will speak Danish. I have finished Rosetta Stone and numerous workbooks, but still feel I am at a beginner level. I need stronger conversation and grammar in Danish. I would like to have a tutor come to my home twice per week. I will spend an hour a day practicing.

American residing in Risskov seeking private lessons at work in Egå, DK. Desparately need to learn Dansk to communicate in personal and professional life. I have a BS in BA from a USA university but for some reaon I am having difficulty understanding /speaking Dansk, even though Dansk is the native language of my life partner. I seek a tutor committed to devote an hour or two, 4-5 days a week, for 3 months or more. I believe that only through constant repetition on a frequent basis will I begin to grasp the language. Some qualities of the tutorial should include patience, visual examples, with more of a focus on understanding and speaking the language in personal and business situations (reading and writing are secondary).

I may be moving to Copenhagen for a relationship and so I want to start studying Danish. I am in town from 23-28 Sept 2009 and then again in December but can also study over the Internet using videoconferen cing (free program through ooVoo.com).
I look forward to finding a tutor who can help me work on my Danish speaking. I have Rosetta Stone and that helps with visual recognition but pronunciation is harder since Danish is not a very phonetic language! Lots of special pronunciation s.
For reference, I am a business person (management consulting and executive coaching) and live in Salt Lake City, Utah right now.
