I am learning Croatian because my husband is croatian and we visit the Adriatic often.
I am a beginner but know a lot of single words , short sentences etc.
My grammar is very bad and I would like to converse more.
I would like at least 2-3 hours per week of tutoring and then I would do homework and study as well.
I am looking for a a teacher that will have a good idea of setting me tasks. I have books and texts on grammar and also work books that can be used.

I am learning Croatian in order to be more proficient in the country I currently reside. My intent is to refine what I already know. I can get along well, but I still strongly sound like an American. I am an intermediate speaker of Croatian. I need work in pronunciation and in grammar usage. What I ultimately want is to stop sounding like Google translate when I speak. I will be willing to work on my language 2 or 3 times a week for an hour.
What I am looking for is a tutor who can listen to my current usage of the language and recommend a way to help me become more proficient.

I would like to learn Croatian for an upcoming holiday in August 2014. I have been to Croatia twice before and want to converse with people there on a basic level. I speak Polish and German already, therefore I have well established understanding grammar within foreign languages.
I am a complete beginner and intend on dedicating 3/4 hours a week to learning, 1.5 hours in lessons and another 1.5 hours study.
I would like for the teacher to speak almost only Croatian to me from the start.

Hello. I would like to learn Croatian because I have just learned I have family in Croatia and I want to be able to communicate with them (verbally). I understand a little, but would be considered a beginner. I have a family and other responsibilit ies so I am not sure how much time I could devote, perhaps 4 or 5 hours a week. Ideally, my teacher would be funny, encouraging and supportive, but also tough.
