One goal of my live is learning Japanese to a certain degree. That is why I thought I might just start when I am still in an age in which my brain can absorb a lot.
I already speak more or less 5 other languages and I think that in todays world of globalisation knowing a lot of languages is key for career and life in general.
I study hospitality management which also is an area in which a wide range of languages can be very helpful.
My primary concern is to be able to speak the language and create my own sentences beside the standard phrases. I would like to be able to understand the patterns, if there are any.
My plan is, to spend one session weekly since I am studying and engaged in two different types of sport as well.

I have been studying Mandarin Chinese for over 2 years, including one year of studying in Taiwan. I have enrolled on a course in Mandarin at a university in the UK, however I have decided to pull out of it this year and defer until next year due to stress.
I need to use the time that I have off from uni to try and keep up my skills in Chinese reading, writing, listening and speaking.
I would very much to have a tutor to see each week to set up some work for me to hand in and get marked each week. I really need to focus on my Chinese speaking skills as well.
I already have a few resources for learning Mandarin, I just need to get them organised witha tutor and design a course with tests to make sure I am keeping up to scratch.
2 Hours a week of contact time plus marking time of work is what I am looking for. Essentially, I aim to be self-taught but need a tutor to monitor my progress and practice speaking Mandarin each week.
