I am a beginner, however I studied in Spain for four months taking an immersion language course so I have good base knowledge. I would like to learn Spanish to advance my skill set for professional purposes. I need improvement primarily in conversion. I would like to dedicate one lesson a week to learning at first but am open to change if necessary. I am a beginner and really want to become proficient in all aspects of the Thai language from reading and writing to proper speaking.
I want to learn because I have many friends I have met from there and I keep going back to Thailand (3 times in 9 months) and find it a bit frustrating that I can't communicate efficiently. This is my fault as I have not taken the time yet to learn.
I want to spend a lot of time learning the language. I have already purchased several different books, CD's and software programs to assist me though I have only been using them for about 1 month.
I am looking for someone who can be patient and will make learning fun. Thai I realize is a very difficult language and if it isn't fun, I am not sure if I would be as motivated as I am now.
