I volenteer with teaching the Disabled skiing and kayaking. I want to learn sign language, as I am dedicated to doing more in this area. I need a teacher who can meet with me at least a couple of times a week and teach me all aspects of conversation in sign language. Must live within the Sacramento CA area.
The teacher must be able to teach and be patient. Skilled in sign language and use it on a daily basis. He or she must know all aspects (such as ABCs and all words)even double meanings.
This is important to me and I would like to start lessons after mid August. Price will also be a factor.

I studied French for six years in high school many years ago, and I am trying to revive my knowledge in order to prepare for a test that will take place at the end of July. I am interested in meeting as soon as possible, several times a week during the next few weeks. I am flexible about time of day. I'm a beginner with Nepali, though I have been taking lessons this Summer in Kathmandu. I'm presently working for an INGO in Nepal and will be returning to DC this August to continue graduate school. I'm hoping to return to Nepal in Spring of 2010 to continue fieldwork and I'd like to be able to carry on basic conversations .
I'm looking for a focus in conversation, but grammar and script would be helpful as well. I'd prefer to meet in person a couple times a week.
