I don't think I can talk about one teaching approach, I generally use new method with every student. The common point I always respect is 'to get the student involved in the language learning'.
C ourses are customized to meet the students skills and expectations. To reach the best results cooperation of the student is a must.
Regard ing French courses and discussion sessions, students can be either english or slovak or arabic speaking, I have no preference, and most of all the method used is based mainly on the use of french.

I speak French adequately, but my wife and kids are beginners and keen to learn. In 10 weeks (March 09) we are returning to Belgium (where I was an exchange student) and my family would like to be able to better communicate with my host parents.

I wish to learn European languages, as I visited Switzerland last year and was mesmerized by the beauty of Europe. I wish to go again to Europe for higher study, travel and hopefully work, and therefore, I wish to learn as many European languages as possible, to a level good enough for achieving a level of smooth communication . I am a great admirer of Nassim Nicholas Taleb and am trying to follow in his footsteps. Creating a tower of Babel in my mind is just one of those steps! I am interested in learning Dutch, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Swedish, Danish, Finnish, Hebrew and Arabic. Let's see how far this interest can be pursued!

I am a beginner. I have never had any experience in learning French. I have always wanted to learn a language and French seems like a good idea. Since I've had no previous experience in French, I dont think there's a particular area for improvement. I can dedicate 2-3 hours at the tuition and then some time at home for a couple of months right now. I'd want my teacher to be patient and polite.
