I am a beginner wanting to learn portuguese as I am traveling to Brasil next year. I need improvment in all areas. I would dedicate around three days a week to learning the language as I also study at uni and wouldnt have much time to do anything more. I would like a teacher who is able be patient and work at a pace that im comfortable with :)

* I have basic 'tourist level' Mandarin having attended two courses in Suzhou, PRC.
* I have spent (and totally enjoyed)16 months working in China and would like to learn Mandarin to basic conversationa l level to enhance my chances of returning.
* Conversationa l level.
* Probably 2 hours per week, but open to advice.
* Teacher to be aware of difficulty experienced by Australians in coming to terms with the Chinese tones, needs patience and a sense of humour.
8 Preferably a female teacher - classes likely to be held in my family home with one of my sons(21 year old law student) also attending. My wife and other son will usually be at home but not attending the class.
