Hi. I am a begginer in arabic, both written and spoken. I want to learn because my husband is Palestinian, and i want my children to speak their father's native tongue. Written language is not as important as spoken and conversation for my personal needs. I would however like soemone of palestian dialect, seeing as how from country to country it differs greatly.The qualities that i am looking for in a teacher are simple, the same as my own. I am myself a teacher, so what is important for me is for the teacher to be able to teach in the best learning style for me, at my pace.

I am a total beginner in Japanese but i strongly want to learn because i want to go live in Japan someday. I am presently learning some words but i think i am far away to be able to have a fluent japanese conversation but that's my goal.
I can dedicate around 1-3 times a week in the japanese lessons (depending of the hours of classes)

Dear Potential Teacher,
I am extremely interested in learning to fluently read, write, understand and speak Chinese (Mandarin).
My proficiency level is 0. (Absolute beginner!)
The reasons for which I desire to learn the language are mostly business related. I believe that China will be the next economic super power and do not want to be left behind. I also find the orient a fascinating place with much to offer and would love to take the opportunity to learn more about its culture and history as well. I've ordered a few books on China, which I should receive in a couple of weeks so that I can learn more about it in my spare time.
I understand that it is difficult language to grasp, but I am willing to put in the work needed.
I' m looking for a teacher whose native language is Chinese (Mandarin) and who is also fluent in reading, writing and speaking English, and has experience in teaching foreigners Chinese.
I would prefer if he/she would provide me with English/Chine se textbooks and work books that include audio CD's with authentic Mandarin speaking narration since tonal accuracy is very important to me and to learning the language. These I would use to practice and learn in addition to video conferencing. (I will pay for them, and the shipping of course!)
M y potential teacher should be a patient one and be available to give me 9 hrs of lessons per week. Someone who can start me from scratch and teach me up to an advanced/flue nt level without having to change teachers over the years. I can only afford to pay a maximum of $10 CAD per hour but I am willing to be your devoted student for at least 2 years or more. Hopefully my potential teacher is someone who loves to teach and is not in it for the money.
