I want to learn Hindi because my work has an office in Dubai and the team there speak Hindi and I want to be able to understand what they are talking about. I would also like to learn to speak but being able to understand verbal conversations is my main aim and directed more toward business conversation but also some social.
My level is beginner.
I want to focus most on understanding conversation.
I am willing to dedicate a couple of hours a week to learning.
I want my teacher to be flexible with how we have classes. I would like some to be face to face and then other times just via Skype or telephone.

Hello. I was born in Thailand and went to school there until Grade 5 first term....so I don't know all the adult words in society and in newspapers. I have forgotten some letters of the alphabet, and so cannot read easily. My mother is English, so we came to live in Australia since I was 9 years old. I cannot speak Thai to Thai people properly. Would you be able to teach me? I can understand simple Thai language of a child's vocabulary. I was born in Bangkok. I would like to travel to the beaches and to Chiang Mai again one day....maybe you will come too. I could drive to your place, unless you can drive to my place, on the weekend for lessons. My 10 yo son would like a tutor in ANCIENT Greek following on from an interest he has developed in Greek Myths and Legends (initially stimulated by reading Percy Jackson books.)
He is an absolute beginner. He would like to learn the writing as well (has an interest in codes).
The main quality in a teacher would be someone who would enjoy the company of a 10 yo. Could come to our house or we would go to them....

M y proficiency level is beginner.
