I am a beginner, desiring to learn Arabic so I can converse with my fiance's family, who are Lebanese. I would like to work for at least 1 to 2 hours a week with a tutor, and then invest time on my own practicing. I am looking for a teacher who preferably knows the Lebanese dialect and idioms and can help me learn to converse effectively. I am a very quick learner... I am currently in medical school.

I love Japan and want to pick up my Japanese studies again. I was taking Japanese lessons while in Tokyo for 3 years. I would say I am at a beginner level again as it has been sometime since I had practice and could put it to good use. I would like to reach conversationa l Japanese level. I am the star clown in a show that will be playing in Lebonon from Dec 13-Jan 1. I want to learn some basic phrases so I can have some interaction with the audience. I am a complete beginer in arabic. I speak decent spanish some french and german. I also know some phrases in Russian, Swedish, Mongolian, Indonisan, Farsi, and Korean. I would like to spend aprox 5 hours a week until I leave on Dec 13.
