Hello there,
My name is Mike and I am looking for a teacher who can help me learn Swahili either from Kenya, Tanzania or D.R. Congo. I want to learn as i spent a lot of time in DRC but did not have the time to really learn properly how to speak or write Swahili, instead i had to concentrate on French.
I am still involved in many ways in the DRC so i would like to take this opportunity to learn more while im in Canada as it would help me to interact better now and in the future.
Even if you were able to link me with someone who speaks French and Swahili but not English im sure we could do a nice language exchange.

Hi there :) I am currently doing an undergraduate degree in a Bachelor of International Development Studies at ACU hopefully transferring into a Bachelor of Laws/Global Studies.
I lived in Malawi for 9 months last year doing volunteer work, and then travelled East Africa for a further three months.
I therefore quite a lot of language skills in ChiTumbuka which holds the same Bantu origins as KiSwahili.
I believe Swahili would be a lot of fun and very useful to lean.
For these reasons I am keen to do some Swahili classes on the side of my studies.

Hello,
Im learning swahili for self. I have some very basic understanding of the language. I want to work on my conversationa l swahili. Maybe one or two days a week to start. I am looking to a serious teacher. someone that have a passion for swahili and love to teach. someone that have a organized approach to teaching the language, not someone that come in and just teach different stuff off the top of there heard. i have some really good text books i would perfer to use so the lessons build off of one another. and i can go home a study the material from it.
