Hello. I would like to learn Croatian because I have just learned I have family in Croatia and I want to be able to communicate with them (verbally). I understand a little, but would be considered a beginner. I have a family and other responsibilit ies so I am not sure how much time I could devote, perhaps 4 or 5 hours a week. Ideally, my teacher would be funny, encouraging and supportive, but also tough.

Hello,
My girlfriend's family are initially from Croatia and I would love to start learning in secret and surprise them with a conversation in a few months time!
I am a complete beginnger. The family are from the Vudgarratz (not sure on the spelling) area of Croatia, which I understand to be an area that speaks Serbo-Croatia n.
I am looking to meet a language teacher approximately once every one - two weeks. I work in the week, so this would likely be evenings or weekends.

I would like to learn to speak Croatian fluently.
I have been to Croatia numerous times over my life
and most of my family lives here. I am currently living
in Croatia and plan to stay for the foreseeable future.
I can understand quite allot of Croatian, however can only
manage simple sentences myself.
I would like to improve my grammar, be able to sustain
conv ersations properly and learn to read and write in Croatian.
I am looking to dedicate 3-4 days per week, around 2 hours per lesson.
I would like a teacher with a contemporary attitude to teaching
Cro atian, who also engages the student and makes the lessons
inte resting.
