Hello. I am Gujarati but grew up in the U.S. speaking English. Although I understand most Gujarati, I am limited in my speaking abilities. I am a beginner....I would love to learn Portuguese since that is my heritage, strictly for personal reasons. I need help with grammar, conversation and pronunciation . I will devote as much time as it takes to learn. I am looking for patience from my teacher and simplicity in the lessons (as much as can be expected). I grew up in a home where Portuguese was spoken (my grandparents were from Azores), However in those days it was necessary for them to adapt to English language so much was lost in my upbringing.
