I have been studying Chinese for three years. My level of proficiency is between beginner and intermediate but mostly beginner. I would like to further my study of Mandarin so that one day I might be able to use it in sync with my career plans. I would like to dedicate at least one hour per week to begin with and then possibly dedicate more time as I progress. I am looking for a teacher that is kind, patient, and has a perfect understanding of the Mandarin language so that I will eventually too. I particularly need help in writing and reading as well as more practice speaking.

I would like to learn another language so I can be well diverse in culture, future career employment, and better myself as a person. Hello!
My 8 year-old daughter and I took one school year of Mandarin when we lived in Florida. Our teachers' first language was Mandarin. I've always had an interest in Chinese, and feel it is more important now than ever to learn the language, with China's growing world influence. Our daughter is a quick learner, and when we lived in Florida, her best friend was Chinese. It has been a bonding experience for us to learn a foreign language together. We would like to work on conversation and writing. We could dedicate 30-60 minutes daily to the lessons. We'd like a teacher who is patient and encouraging.

Hello,
I am an American businessman and father of two married to a Danish woman and we have recently relocated to the Juland area of Denmark.
M y business requires occasional travel to the States and I would like to learn Danish as it now seems we will be relocating to Denmark permanently.
I am a beginner and would like to eventually achieve a high level of proficiency and can realistically commit to 1-2 hours of study per day. I intend to speak English with my children in the home.
I would like to study with a teacher who speaks English well and has had a solid background of Danish language instruction, perhaps a former teacher. I also would like to study with an instructor who is adept at distance learning since this may be necessary to accomodate my travel needs.
