I dont have background in any dialect in Chinese although my husband is a chinese.
I want to learn the basic languages that usually we encounter everyday.

I want to learn the Chinese Mandarin language for career improvement and gain better language skills, having gone through a french school, studying Greek and Latin as parts of classics in school, I would also love to learn this language from the scratch as a beginner, want to be proficient in it, to be able to read, write, speak and understand it.

Hello,
I am looking to continue studying Mandarin. My proficiency level is basic, and my reading comprehension is significantly better than my oral or written abilities. I am aiming to write the HSK exam next year. I would like at least a once weekly lesson, and due to time constraints, I would need a teacher available to come to me. I would like to learn mandarin is mainly because I'm a Chinese and I felt it is important especially at work where most Chinese communicates in Mandarin.
My proficiency is considered beginner. I only know a few words (about 30-40 words).
I would like to have a proper training in the language from scratch (read, write and speak).
I' m hoping to spend around 1-2hrs lesson per week since I'm working and the rest is for self study revision to prepare myself for the next lesson.
I do not have any particular qualities that I'm looking for in the teacher. However, I'm hoping to have a reasonable quality in the lesson so that I can take back and revise/practi ce.
