I haven't any knowledge of Spanish, so I would consider myself a beginner. I would like to learn to speak Spanish, because I have friends who speak Spanish and co-workers. Also, I would like to speak to people I encounter on a daily basis that don't speak English. It would be nice to have conversation with them and get to know them better. I would like to be able to study at least one hour every day. I feel I can learn grammar well, but I have a hard time with conversation. I need to hear it more. My friend that tries to teach me at work, speaks much too quickly and far too advanced. I need someone with the teaching ability to go at my pace.

I am currently in kolkata, and i am very interested in learning bengali, to communicate with the locals. I know a couple basic phrases, but i really want to be able to have a conversation, with knowing what they are saying and what i am saying, and really understand it. I am in kolkata for one more week and i would like to dedicate a few hours a day to learning bengali. I would like a teacher who is patient and can really explain what they are teaching slowly and in detail.
