I'm Brandi, a university student from Florida, with an intermediate level of Spanish. Currently, I'm in Buenos Aires, Argentina to intern/volunt eer and I need a teacher! I've studied abroad in Spain and Panama before, so learning the Argentine way of speaking is quite different :) I'm looking for a native or fluent non-native instructor to employ innovate language aquisition methods and one who understands the language learning process. It's also essential the instructor be comfortable using various teaching methods, such as: games, dialogues, skits, online interaction, etc. to keep things fun and thought provoking :D.

I do not know ABC of Spanish but I would like to learn this not for any specific reasons, just for an additional language that could help me in reaching probably more people. Though about learning Chinese or japnese but then I do not want to devote half of my life in it learning it. I believe I heard that it changes now and then but anyways that now I have zeroed it on learning Spanish, following are the details requested.
1 . My Proficiency level is Beginner.
2. Carrer advancement is the reason why I am learning it.
3. Conversation is what I am looking forward to with accent and fluency.
4. I am in IT sector and most of the time I devote to my work so honestly I could not afford more than 1 hour a day and would like to have a holiday on Sunday that makes it 6 Hours a week. Probably on the 6th day I would like to revise what I have learned but that's secondary as the tutor will take care of the timelines, etc.
5. Honest enough to let me know what are my weeknesses and how I can improve upon it. Frankly, I shouldn't have mentioned that because all the teachers are like this only :-)

I want to learn Spanish to expand business in Mexico and South America. I work in the oil refining business. Currently, my proficiency level is that of a beginner. I'm looking for a qualified language program to teach me how to communicate as best I can with technical employees within foreign refineries.

I used to be fluent after my two-month volunteership in Costa Rica in 1994. I began learning Spanish in middle school and it was one of my majors at University. I worked for the government in the late 90's as one of two Spanish speaking call center reps. Unfortunately and to my great sadness, foreign language is a skill and when I left Buffalo in 1996, I lost opportunities to continue practicing. My life and a job has brought me back to Buffalo. This new job is forcing me to bring my Spanish back up to fluency. I miss Spanish terribly and now have a boss to kick my butt to get it back, but I need help. Thank you.
