Good Afternoon,
I am interested in taking Egyption Arabic classes. Small group classes would be my most favorable way of learning. I lived in Egypt for 3 years in my teenage years, but have lost most of what I learned. I am interested in finding a place to take classes to become proficiant enough to become a translator.

A great admirer of Arab culture, I would like learn to speak and write elegant, grammatically correct Egyptian Arabic, but I also need to be proficient in colloquial usages as well. I would be a beginner in Egyptian Arabic. I have visited Egypt and have formed close connections there. This past February, I became a Muslim (officially) at Al Azhar. Language is one of my great interests, and I have studied Latin, Greek, Hebrew, French, German, Spanish, and Italian. I'm not sure how many hours per week I should commit to, but I think I should be able to spend 1-2 hours per week with a teacher (at present) and that I should be able to dedicate 2-3 hours per week to study on my own. I am a mature adult gentleman, an editor by profession.
