I am a beginner in Russian and currently have been self-teaching the language. I want to be able to speak it with profiency, fluently would be ideal, at some point. I want to learn it because I want to know more than just my native language and German. I am very interested in the culture and language itself and I already know the Cyrillic alphabet. I want to improve in all my areas, especially grammar and vocabulary. That is the core of a language I suppose. I already know some vocabulary and grammar, but I need to work on putting them into sentences. I go to a high school where I am learning German but they do not offer Russian. I would love to spend time learning it and going in depth with lessons, I am serious about it. I want someone who is credible, who has knowledge of the language and can work at any level. If anyone has any information about where I could find materials to learn the Ossetic Language of North Ossetia (in Russia) and South Ossetia (in Georgia) I would also greatly appreciate it or any information or programs on the language. I am also interested in learning Azerbaijani.

I am a beginner in the Portuguese language. Though I have traveled to Lisbon four times in the last five years, I still know very little. I do know some very basics, and can seem to understand the language better than I can speak it. I want to learn Portuguese to better communicate with my friends in Portugal, even though they speak English quite well. I feel this is an important step to be able to communicate with them in their language as well. I am interested in conversationa l Portuguese to start, but am open to instruction. I am willing to dedicate a couple of hours per week to lessons as well as more time on practice.
