Hello, my name is Myrthe and I am a second year student Chinese language. I am looking for someone who can help me to improve my Chinese.
* The reason that I am learning Chinese is because I am interested in foreign cultures and especially in Chinese because of its beautiful characters and challenging pronounciatio n.
* Since I am a second year student my level is intermediate I think. This year, we started to use a business Chinese book.
* I feel I need particular improvement in grammar and pronounciatio n. In class I feel that I don't get enough personal help to improve my speaking skills.
* I would like to take classes every week for 1 or 2 hours. I prefer to take classes in the evenings or weekends, because I am traveling a lot during the week.
* I am looking for a native Chinese teacher, who can help me to improve my pronounciatio n. I would also like to practise every day conversations and the dialogues of my textbook.

Until 1995, I spoke Spanish at approximately C1 level, but then I stopped using Spanish in my work. Today my Spanish is rusty, but I need to get it back to C1 level because I am starting a new career as a 3-language mediator (English, Spanish, and Dutch). Basically, I need a lot of conversation in Spanish, and a qualified teacher will not only correct my mistakes but also remind/teach me about the finer ways to express my thoughts in perfect castellano. I prefer that my teacher also speak castellano. I personally speak Spanish with a thick Madrileño accent. When I find the right teacher (or combination of teachers) I will be seeking to book around 20 hours per week. I don't know yet how many weeks; that will depend on how confident I feel after 1-2 weeks. I would also value some writing assignments with correction of my written Spanish into 'español refulgente'.

I am extremely interested and motivated to learn Polish. My wife is Polish, and we have a three year old daughter who is also speaking Polish as well as English. I lived in Poland for about nine months, but my level of Polish is minimal. I learn from my daughter and the little I picked up while living there. I taught English while in Poland, and I can understand more than I can communicate, even if my understanding is very general. I want to learn and am interested in at least weekly lessons. I would like to find a teacher which I can relate to and who can also show me ways to learn on my own so that it becomes a lifelong process.
