Good day. I would like to learn how to speak and write French. I must admit I don't know anything except the few basic words like merci, tres bien and bonjour.
The most obvious reason for wanting to learn the language is that I have a French boyfriend. Although he is very fluent in the English language (which makes communication between us quite easy) I would like to be able to converse with him in French. I'm planning to visit him in France and since most of the people there don't speak English, I would find it very hard to go around the place. Second reason (and I think the more important one for me) is that fluency in the use of the language would be a great advantage in trying to land an interesting job overseas.
In terms of the time I can dedicate to the lessons, 5 to 8 hours a week are what I can spare since my work takes up a lot of my time.
I would also love to have a teacher who has the ability to make learning the language fun and enjoyable.
