Proficiency level - Absolute Beginner!
Why - I import a lot from China due to which I have to travel atleats twice a year all over the interiors to places such as Ningbo, Yiwu, Fuzhou, Yangjiang, Guangzhou, Shantou, Xiamen etc etc. And I feel speaking the language would make life much easier as sometimes its near impossible to even order a cup of coffee at a local chinese cafe as they do not understand a word of english! Not to mention, I will be in a far better position to negotiate prices with the factories I deal with if I speak the local language...
Areas - Fluent Conversation ONLY!
Time - I would be able to dedicate 90 minutes a days, atleast thrice a week to learn the languange. I dont think I will be able to afford a one-on-one class but a group of 3 or 4 should work out fine.
Qual ities - Patience!! Shoule be female [I know its not a quality but they are far better teachers]! And should be a Chinese national cause I need to get the dialect right.

I have no previous experience of the language but need to learn it for my career advancement (it is one of the official UN languages). I am a fast learner and enjoy studying new languages.
