I am a beginner with three years formal education in Arabic language (MSA and Egyptian Colloquial) and one 3-month immersion trip to an Arabic-speaki ng country (Levant Colloquial).
I need help with Levant colloquial and especially with speaking and with building my vocabulary. I have better facility in writing and reading than in speaking.

I speak no Arabic, but I wish to learn. I have a BS degree in electrical engineering and a BS in cardiopulmona ry science. This is just a personal desire and not for any career goal. I have a few hours a week I can devote to this, but I have a full-time career and a family that also vie for my time. I spent my summer in Kenya, and had very beginning level lessons. I am looking to continue learning swahili very casually, as I am hoping to return to Kenya soon. I would like to get together with a teacher once or twice a month to go over lessons in a very relaxed and informal setting so I can continue to speak swahili with my Kenyan friends.
