My boyfriend and I will travel to Thailand at the end of the year. We would like to have some understanding of the language before our trip. We would like to be able to carry out simple conversations .
I am a complete beginner - I have spent 2 months in Thailand but can mostly say hello, thank you, and numbers.
M y boyfriend is also a beginner, but has also spent 1-2 months in Thailand. Also, his mother is Thai and spoke Thai to him as a child - he will most likely pick it up quickly!

I have had a few lessons in Arabic, but my level is still elementary. I was just accepted into UT's Middle Eastern Studies program, and wish to supplement my formal Arabic classes with private tutoring as well, so that my understanding of the language will progress that much faster.
