I am a recent graduate of a top-tier university and am currently seeking employment overseas in the Middle East and Asia. I have a strong desire to learn as much Arabic and Mandarin as I can in the next few months before I depart.
I seek teachers who are able to teach quickly, effectively, and conveniently. Additionally, since I have never studied either of these languages before I would like to have teachers who could devote more time to me than just an hour or two a week. Finally, native speakers are preferred (for accent coaching purposes), but I am willing to consider non-natives, as well.

Hello,
I am interested in learning Hebrew and/or Spanish. I would be a beginner in both languages. I would like to learn Hebrew because my significant other is half Israeli and by learning Hebrew, I feel I would learn more about his background and his culture. By learning Spanish, I feel it may advance my career, or at least add to my skills; and as I become friends with more Spanish-speak ing people, this will give us a commonality.
At this point, I am still unsure if I will take lessons as cost is a consideration , as well as flexibility of schedules. Right now I would be available 2-3 mornings a week, however that may change since I am searching for a full-time day position. Cost, again, may affect availability. I am also looking for teachers whose native languages are Hebrew and Spanish, respectively. I indicated that I would like lessons both in person and online. Any lessons apart from in person I would prefer to limit to e-mail or telephone. Thank you in advance for any responses.

I have recently married a Vietnamese woman, and while she speaks English fluently (she lived most her life in the US), I would really like to learn her native language. Furthermore, her parents do not speak English very well, and I would like to be able to speak to them without an interpreter.
Although I have been trying to learn Vietnamese on my own with computer programs, I still am a beginner.
